NucleoSpin® FFPE RNA/DNA allows the parallel isolation of both, RNA and DNA from the same specimen without sample splitting. DNA and RNA are eluted sequentially and selectively into two separate fractions.
The kit introduces an innovative method for deparaffinization using the Paraffin Dissolver (patent pending). Formaldehyde modifications (crosslinks) are removed efficiently by incubation with a decrosslinking buffer. Concentrated RNA can be eluted in as little as 5 µl and DNA is eluted in
20 µl.
RNA and DNA isolated with NucleoSpin® FFPE RNA/DNA are ready to use in all common downstream applications leading to excellent performances in RT-PCR or PCR.

The Protein Quantification Assay is a convenient and reliable kit for the determination of protein concentration in buffers typically used for SDS-PAGE (sodium dodecylsulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis). It is mainly designed for proteins solved in Protein Solving Buffer (PSB), a component of NucleoSpin® RNA/Protein, and is suitable for proteins solved in buffer as described by Laemmli (1970), or similar.
Protein quantification can be carried out in microplates, microcuvettes, semi-microcuvettes, and with low-volume photometers (e.g., NanoDrop™) within only 40 minutes.
