Alongside COD (chemical oxygen demand) and BOD5 (biochemical oxygen demand), TOC (total organic carbon) is an important sum parameter for assessing the organic pollution of a body of water. It comprises the sum of dissolved and undissolved organic carbon compounds. The total carbon (TC) of a sample is made up of the total inorganic carbon (TIC) and the total organic carbon (TOC).
The TOC content of water can be reliably determined with the new NANOCOLOR TOC 30 Neo and NANOCOLOR TOC 300 Neo round cell tests. As usual, you receive a reliable result within two hours in just three steps.
- expulsion of the inorganic carbon with NANOCOLOR TIC-Ex
- digestion of the sample with NANOCOLOR thermoblocks
- measurement of the cells with NANOCOLOR photometers
Improved handling thanks to new screw coupling
The new NANOCOLOR TOC Neo
With the new tube tests NANOCOLOR TOC 30 Neo and NANOCOLOR TOC 300 Neo, we are relying on the proven chemistry of our TOC tests with improved handling. The new screw coupling makes it easier to screw the cells together. It also ensures that digestion is possible in a closed system. This means that it is no longer necessary to use the pressure compensation cannula.
